There was a short stint during my final year of Engineering
that changed my life for the better. It was the stint that took place during my Final year Project training. We were very happy to get into the final year with
lofty ambitions of sitting in the placement drives of the companies, so we were
casual regarding the final year project training. Since we were completing our
Final year Project training from a top company, we thought just completing
attendance everyday would suffice, as it’s a top branded company as we had
planned to enjoy our vacations in a very
casual and happy manner.
But the positive incident that I came through during the
Final year Training, was something which I will remember for a long time. I
came across my instructor who was well qualified. His training was so good,
that even though I was in a casual mood, I learned all the basics of the
industrial mechanism which was an integral part of the final year projecttraining.
Luckily the same
company came to our college for our placements. We were shocked, at the same
time very happy as it had offered the highest package. I was lucky to get into
the interview round, and what I saw there left me dumbstruck, the interviewer
was the same Instructor who taught me during my final year project training.
And guess what, due to the knowledge what I gained from the training I was the only
solo nerd who got selected in the company with the highest package. I didn’t
ever imagine that this fun filled learning would land me in the prestigious
company. I thank God and the mysterious stint that change my life forever and
